Looks like about 2-3 inches of snow today, second one of the season. Prim and the goats are safe and sound in the barn. Even the chickens won't come out in in the cold. They all know Mom is on her way with food and some treats. Time to bundle up to go up the hill to feed the sheep and break the ice Luckily, there's only a thin layer of slushy ice on top, but they come running and are ready to eat I'd like to think they're happy to see ME but I know they just want food. Baby Mama is always front and center looking right at the camera. My favorite part of feeding time is taking a moment to enjoy the scenery. On days like today, I realize how much I really LOVE my Gator!

What could be more peaceful and soothing to the soul than a walk through the trees on a cool, sunny November afternoon. Nothing to hear but the sound of nature, birds chirping, and unseen mysterious animals making crunching noises through the leaves. Fall is natures time of rest and preparation. As she lays peaceful, her care seems possible, even for me. Whether possible or not, she is mine, and nothing can take her away from me without my will or permission. At least for now.
