Horses eat a lot. Shilo and Freckles had cleaned up the lower field, so once again it was time to move. We added about an acre to the 4 acre sheep field, and the horses moved in. They look like they love it. So far, the sheep are keeping their distance. We'll see how they like their new field mates. Meanwhile, back at the house... the yard is torn up once again. The Septic system and the EarthLink Geothermal HVAC are going in. Its a good time for Connor to practice his long jumping skills.

Christy...just wondering, are you going to use any solar? I'd love to be able to put panels on our barn, but haven't been able to get in touch with the guy from Buckeye Rural that handles it.

I haven't looked into it so far, other than using some little things like solar lights and fence chargers. It sounds like a good idea. Leave a Reply. |
